A: The talented Dean at Dean’z Doodlez was kind enough to invite me to be a guest for his Guest Blogger Sunday feature, where Dean asked his guests to tell the tale of their journey into self publishing or writing itself.

D: So, have you really been writing for 20 years?

A: Yep.

D: Wow, you really are old.

A: This coming from the 1300 year-old Pict.

D: Indeed. I know from old, A. Say, is that a white–

A: Well, I think we’re done here. Head over to Dean’z Doodlez, read my guest post, check out his new book and peruse his great artwork!

Born in the States, she is a dual US/Irish citizen, and studied history and politics at University College, Dublin – although, at the time, she seriously considered switching to law, if only so she could attend lectures at the castle on campus. She lives in Milwaukee with her daughter, two cats and a pesky character in her head named D (but you can call him Dubh). Her first series, The Changelings Saga, a young adult historical fantasy trilogy is available on Amazon. She can be found writing with said character at her blog, The D/A Dialogues.

      1. Oh my goodness, Tom and I have seen it many times and missed it, but once we realized what it was we laughed. It makes me love the picture even more (I totally would be a lost Brownie!)

      2. PS: Tom loved the pic so much (and the Willow reference) that he just made an ax on Skyrim called The Axe of Green Embers. It’s really cool looking and I think it shoots fire. He intends to make a weapon for everyone on the Community Storyboard header. I’m not sure where he got the idea, but there you have it… 12 year-olds are fun.
