D: Wait!

A: What? What is it, D?

D: Maybe you should sit this one out.

A: What?

D: No, no I mean you can sit there and look pretty and add heart to the whole thing, but maybe, could you not sing?

A: . . .

D: Come on, A. I’ve heard what your friends say.

A: Damn. You’ve been talking to Christine again, haven’t you.

D: Maybe.

A: And?

D: Tone-Deaf Bull Frog.

A: Point taken. Take it away, D!
